DWT ngo continued to help and support the leprosy-affected people of Sahebganj, Raniganj. The appointed teachers guided the children in the best possible manner.

DISHA-Showing the Right Way

Divine Welfare Trust continued to provide monthly academic expenses, supplies (such as books and stationery), and salaries for teachers this year also.

Mid-day Meal Scheme (MDMS)

The Mid-Day Meal Scheme or the food program for schools is running successfully for the 7th year, serving lunch for more than 7,500 children in 18 schools.

Helping Hands Project (HHP)

DWT continued rendering support to the widows of this project. Local support was raised to meet the remaining necessities of the widows. DWT continued to support the education,

Stone-Mine Workers Children Project

Education and vocational classes were continually held in this tribal village. Children attended the Government schools regularly. Food & education materials.

HOPE-Slum Children Development Project

Children of this slum continued to attend schools and were provided with uniforms and education materials.

Divine Skill Development and Training Centre (DSDTC):

Since, the project is focusing on women empowerment and education, training in ‘tailoring’ were provided to adolescent girls

Distribution of Food/Hygiene Care Packages: (DWT)

Divine Welfare Trust (DWT), in West Bengal India, in partnership with World Compassion Fellowship, USA has distributed hundreds of food/hygiene care packages

Snehapurna Yojana-Distribution of Cooked Food

DWT distributed cooked food to 500 pandemic affected people of the Asansol area under the auspicious guidance, instructions, and support of Asansol Municipal Corporation (AMC).

Distribution of Blankets and Education Supplies

DWT distributed blankets to the families and education materials as well as food packets to the children of the Raniganj Leprosy Colony. This was of great help for them in the winter season. 

Distribution of Tarpaulins:

DWT distributed tarpaulins to the families of the Raniganj Leprosy Colony during the Covid-19 Pandemic. It was a great relief for the families as the water was leaking from the roofs of the houses in which they stayed.
