DSTDC provides free tailoring classes for the adolescent girls and deprived woman of the society and free tutorial assistance to the slum children of Jhanjra. This project focuses on women empowerment and education. We give training of ‘tailoring’ to disadvantaged and deprived women of the society so that they become self-sustained and provide income generation for their families. Moreover, children from the slum areas are given free tuition classes after school hours. It helps to make an environment of education among those sects of people and reinstate the backward class of the humanity to the mainstream of life.

NEEDS/ OBSERVATIONS

At least 10 more sewing machines are needed for the tailoring classes as the number of students are increasing.
